At Willows we believe that developing positive reciprocal relationships with tamariki, family/whanau, caregivers and the wider community as essential to tamariki’s holistic development. As a team we aim to nurture and grow relationships that embrace respect
and open communication, the tamariki will develop trusting and respectful relationships with their teachers and the environment.

Childspace has five centres in Wellington, located in Karori, Wilton, Northland and Ngaio. Childspace provides high quality care and education for infants and toddlers and cater for part time and full time positions. The teachers at Karori Childspace believe strongly in a child-centered approach and offer an innovative programming system which celebrates individual children’s interests and strengths.

Gladstone Park is a purpose-built facility offering a stimulating education programme for babies and pre-schoolers. Your child will be cared for in a warm, fun environment by experienced and qualified staff. Enrolments are essential.

This playcentre backs onto a reserve and has a warm, friendly atmosphere with hot beverages for the adults and organised family social activities. They welcome you to drop in and have a look around.

Little Wonders Childcare (Oamaru) is a large, high-performing, privately-owned centre that has been in operation for five years. It provides care and education for children from three months to school age.

Most YMCA centres have a child minding facility to care for babies to pre-schoolers and they also run school holiday programmes for 5 to 15 year olds. Or, if you just want a break from the kids while you do an hour or two shopping, they have an out of centre’s user’s fee. Hours vary so check the website for details.

Annies Nannies can help you with your childcare, be it permanent, casual or babysitting.

Annies Nannies provides in home and home-based options (either in your home or the educators).

We promote the development of active and confident learners who think, question, seek information and apply knowledge to the best of their ability. All our children go on to have a lifelong thirst for learning thanks to the many and varied learning experiences they get with us in all of our fabulous I-Kids centres.

Tinies runs a casual evening babysitting service and can also provide an emergency nanny service and mother’s help. Tinies specialises in placing experienced child carers with the right families and helping parents find the right childcare solution for them.

Most of the Busy Bodies educators are situated in Invercargill but we also have a growing network in Te Anau. Our educational programme is founded upon the Ministry of Education’s Early Childhood Curriculum – Te Whaarki, and implemented by your primary educator who is responsible for the group of children in their care.  Being the main carer, an important aspect of this is working co-operatively with parents/ whaanau to enable the children to form a secure bond with one educator.

Children experience an enchanting and stimulating environment, with the environment playing an important role (regarded as "the third teacher"). Children are supported by qualified, motivated teachers who are passionate about their learning and growing confident, competent children of our future.

Bunnies is privately owned and caters for children from birth to six years. They are licensed by the Ministry of Education and provide a structured and child initiated programmes which caters for all needs. They have a ratio of one adult to ten children.
